Fire doors Series C-60

Door with one or two steel leaves, with covering on three sides, ±60 mm in thickness, consisting of a double-wall full door panel, made of two zinc-plated steel sheets with a thickness of 15/10 per leaf.

A groove is provided in the lower field of the leaf for injecting a foam product.

The internal insulation is in fire-resistant material.

The frame is made of 20/10 cold rolled folded sheet metal. To accentuate the value of the thermal insulation, the interior is filled with non-combustible material resistant to high temperature. The whole thus formed has a tubular frame form of ± 70 x 100 mm. The 100 mm width is that facing the wall.
The crossbeam and the stiles are inter-welded.
The fields are equipped with a glued strip of foam product to guarantee fire integrity.
The fireproof sealing between the frame and the bay must be carried out using RF expansive foam or ceramic fibre 10 mm thick.

• T-shaped frame, placed in the bay.
• L-shaped frame, placed in the bay, with protruding casings, on the hinge side, the crossbeam and/or the stile.

The leaves are suspended from the frame with at least two welded steel hinges with an external diameter of 20 mm; they are mounted on ball bearings, which enables them to have great inertia, for openings slightly exceeding 180°. In addition, they are designed so that it is impossible to drive out their pin.

We can add anti-unhinging mechanisms as an option. This is not very useful for doors with hinges inside the room to be protected. Conversely, they are highly recommended when the hinges are exposed outside the room to be protected.

Single-leaf doors can be made in bay dimensions between 600 and 1100 mm in width and 1700 to 2100 mm in height, without deviation or prior study. As regards the wall thickness for U-shaped frames, the dimensions must be between 110 and 275 mm. For all other sizes, please consult us.
