Bullet-proof doors Series BRK
BRK Bullet-proof doors, mainly required by the banking sector, tested for resistance to the Kalashnikov, the most widely used weapon in organised crime.
The product meets the Standards EN 1522-1 and 1523-1, open classes, technical report ABAL 0186. Kalashnikov weapons. Test carried out on 7.62 x 39 mm test block. Ammunition during the test: 7.62 x 39. Weight of the bullet: 8 gr.
Acoustic insulation – 42 db.
Leaf
Door with one or two metal leaves, and with covering on three sides, ± 65 mm thick, consisting of a double-wall full door panel, formed by two zinc-plated steel sheets. The minimum total superposition thickness of the sheets is 12 mm. The internal insulation is in high-density rock wool, reinforced by “U”s.

Rotating parts
The leaves are suspended from the frame with at least three welded steel hinges with an external diameter of 20 mm; they are mounted on ball bearings, which enables them to have great inertia, for openings up to 180°, depending on the case. In addition, they are designed so that it is impossible to drive out their pin.
We can add anti-unhinging mechanisms as an option. This is not very useful for doors with hinges inside the room to be protected. Conversely, they are highly recommended when the hinges are exposed outside the room to be protected.
