Armoured doors Series K class V

Door with one or two steel leaves, with covering on three sides, ±60 mm in thickness, consisting of a solid, double-wall panel, made of two zinc plated steel sheets with a thickness of 15/10 per leaf. The internal insulation consists of high density rock wool, omega reinforcements 15/10.

A frame that sandwiches the wall head will be used for most interior doors. The frame is made of zinc plated steel sheets with a thickness of 20/10. It is screwed to the bay with at least three screws per stile. The number, location and type of fixation are chosen by the fitter who will adapt optimally to the masonry.

A 40 x 20 x 1.5 mm tubular strip is riveted onto the frame, and conceals the light that enters between the leaf and the frame on the non-hinged side.

The leaves are suspended from the frame by means of at least two welded steel hinges with an exterior diameter of 20 mm; they are mounted on ball bearings for great inertia and can open up to 180°. They are moreover designed so that the axle cannot be driven out.

Anti-unhinging mechanisms may be added as an option. These are not very useful for doors with hinges inside the room to be protected. Conversely, they are highly recommended when the hinges are exposed outside of the room to be protected.

All our doors leave the factory pre-painted white, RAL 9010.

If they are exposed to bad weather, we recommend that you have them treated and painted in epoxy in an RAL shade of your choice. On all doors with short spindles (06, 07, 08, 21, 22 , 23, 10, 11 and 12), we can provide a veneer in real wood of species available on the market, in door format, 4 mm triplex.

Single-leaf doors can be made in bay dimensions between 600 to 1100 mm in width and 1700 to 2100 mm in height, without deviation or prior study. As regards the wall thickness for U-shaped frames, the dimensions must be between 110 and 275 mm. For all other sizes, please consult us.
